Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention convenience and environmental benefits, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the claim that 'nobody' will buy books is an extreme position that could have been better supported by discussing the specific advantages of digital media over physical media in more detail. The response stays on topic, but the reasoning remains superficial, which prevents it from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on providing concrete examples or more nuanced explanations for your arguments.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Following this' and 'Besides this' are used in ways that do not always logically connect the sentences. Additionally, there are issues with referencing; for example, 'all the individuals have there busy schedule' lacks a clear connection to the previous point. While there is an overall progression, the flow is frequently interrupted by awkward transitions and repetitive sentence structures, which limits the effectiveness of the communication.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'read', 'books', and 'online'. There are also several word-choice errors, such as 'advance time' (instead of 'advanced age' or 'modern era'), 'electronical devices' (instead of 'electronic devices'), and 'developed intersect' (which is unclear). The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary rather than repeating simple words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('peoples are have'), incorrect word forms ('peoples are learn'), and misuse of articles and prepositions ('the used of paper is very less'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often structurally flawed. The majority of your sentences contain errors, which prevents the text from demonstrating a good level of control. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and pluralization would significantly improve your score.
