IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 4.5)
In todays, people have different opinions about learning. Some individuals argue that studying in a group more effective while others think that learners should learning in alone. This essay will discuss both views before giving my opinion why I believe solostudy is a better option for them.
To commence with, there are several advantages of independent learning. The primary merit is that they can concentrate better with their study without any distractions. For example, whenever I feel overwhelmed or confused I prefer studying alone because it helps to easily understand about different topics. Similarly, another advantage is that they can study anywhere according to their preferences, which helps they can prefer any quiet place which better for their study and they also feel more productive there than anyplace.
On the other hand, some people think that group study a good source of understanding. Firstly, they can express their ideas more clearly without any hesitation. It becomes more confident in any internship program. Also, by to educational experts it improves our communication skills and enhance our vocabulary. Moreover, it also improves our problem solving ability. For instance, whenever I feel stressed or disappointed I prefer collaborative studying because it boosted my confidence as my colleagues often have funny conversation which help me feel much better than alone.
From my point of view, self study a better option for easily understanding. I tend to independent learning.
To conclude, although learning with colleagues has many advantages, however, I believe individual study is more effective than group study. It helps us to concentrate better on our study without face any challenging moment. That’s why I prefer solostudy.
