Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the shift toward online reading and the potential decline of printed media. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention benefits like portability and cost, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'easy to carry' is repeated twice in the same paragraph. The conclusion is also very brief and does not effectively summarize the main arguments or provide a final, nuanced thought on the extent of your agreement. To improve, ensure each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-supported idea rather than restating the same point in different ways.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'To explain it that' and 'To clarify it that' are unnatural and do not effectively link ideas. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between 'easy to carry' and 'budget friendly' feels abrupt. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') more naturally to guide the reader through your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'technology spread their wings' and 'I agree to a large extent with this nation' (likely meant 'notion'). You rely on simple, repetitive vocabulary like 'easy' and 'good'. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to digital media and publishing, such as 'digitization', 'accessibility', 'tangible', or 'convenience'. Avoid using informal or non-standard expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'technology spread', 'many sites provides'), article usage (e.g., 'a important role'), and sentence structure (e.g., 'It will carry easy to carry'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors, such as 'To justify it as people spend their most of time on electronic device may cause...'. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency would significantly improve your score.
