Student answer (Band 5.5)
Technology has spread its wings all over the world. In this regard, In future nobody will purchase printed books or newspapers because these will be able to read everything they want online without any charges. I agree up-to large extent with this notion due to many reasons which will be mentioned in forthcoming fragment with logical conclusion.
On the one hand, there are several benefits of using gadget for online learning rather than newspapers. First and foremost are internet was cheaper as compare to books. To justify, some online platforms shows various type of information for free and a lots of suggestions are also given to us because everyone not have similar power to about any topic. As result, today's generation more comfortable with online programs rather than paper learning. In addition, Internet provide instant information. To explain, It is way to get good quality information in little time and books was only written by one person means that have only one person ideas. Furthermore, online programming was environment friendly because not use any type of papers or inks. Example, paper made from wood it also save the trees.
One the other hand, there are some advantage of printed articles. The prime one is that, some older individuals are comfortable with paper reading. To elaborate, old generation does not want online reading because they has habit on paper they gone irritate on display after using a long a time. Another prominent point is that devices which give us information some time have issues such as battery problems, network errors. To clarify it, some time due to weather conditions network gone crash and not presence of electricity many factors stop the online programs.
In conclusion, although there are few advantage of online learning such as give information instantly and it is cheaper as compare to written articles yet the advantages of books can never be neglected at any cost.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the shift to online content and the enduring value of printed materials. You clearly state your position in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument that online content is 'cheaper' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or deeper analysis. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph contains a more detailed explanation and a concrete example that directly supports the main point, rather than relying on generalizations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'First and foremost', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'To justify' or 'To explain', which do not function naturally as transitions. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences lack smooth flow due to grammatical errors. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay read more naturally and improve the overall cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'good quality' and 'various type of information'. There are also instances of awkward word choices, such as 'forthcoming fragment' instead of 'following paragraphs' and 'gone irritate' instead of 'become irritated'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated or less common vocabulary limits the score. Try to incorporate more topic-specific collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing to demonstrate a wider lexical range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. Frequent errors in verb tense ('books was only written', 'Internet provide'), subject-verb agreement ('everyone not have'), and article usage ('the advantages of books' vs 'a lots of suggestions') are present throughout the text. These errors occasionally make the reader work harder to understand the intended meaning. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on consistent control of basic grammar, particularly verb forms and pluralization, while attempting to use more complex sentence structures with greater accuracy.
