Student answer (Band 6.0)
This is often said that in future nobody will but printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything online without paying. I partly bellieve that this depened on the every individual rather they want to read newspaper on online .
On the one hand , online reading is becoming very popular . the main reason is that it is free and convenient . every individual can read any news paper or book on their mobile phone or laptop without paying money . Also they do not need to go the shop . For example Young people in lahore prefer to read news on facebook or google rather than buying newspaper. So, the sale of printed papers will definitely decrease in the future.
On the other hand printed books and newspapers will never completely disappear.First, many individuals still love the feeling of holading a real book . Reading a physicalbook more enjoyable and good for eyes than reading online on screen . Second, printed books more reliable and do not need internet or electricity .For instance , students and old people still like to read printed books for study and for their habit. old people who can not comfortable with use of mobile or laptop will always prefer printed newspaper or books for reading.
therefore, some people will continue to but them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument regarding the future of printed media. You clearly state your position in the introduction and maintain it throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons for the decline of printed media (convenience, cost) and its survival (tactile experience, reliability), the arguments could be expanded with more depth or specific examples beyond personal observations. The conclusion effectively summarizes your stance, but the overall response would benefit from more sophisticated analysis to reach a higher band level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'First', 'Second', and 'In conclusion' to signal the progression of your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas could be smoother. Referencing is generally clear, but the use of cohesive devices is somewhat repetitive and basic. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on common words like 'good', 'easy', and 'popular'. There are several spelling errors, such as 'bellieve', 'depened', 'holading', 'althrough', and 'growring', which are distracting. Additionally, there are word choice errors, such as 'can not comfortable with use of', which should be 'are not comfortable using'. To improve, you should focus on using more academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include missing articles ('go the shop'), subject-verb agreement ('printed books more reliable'), and incorrect verb forms ('will not disappears'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the clarity of your writing. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical rules, particularly verb tense consistency and article usage.
