Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. While you mention cost-saving and time-saving benefits, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The response also fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the overall development of the task. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a more thorough exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Explaining some of the another supporting points'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, and the transition between sentences could be smoother. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases more naturally, and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that connects logically to the main argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, with frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'assess' instead of 'access' and 'wiled' instead of 'widespread'. There is little evidence of less common lexical items or an attempt to use precise academic vocabulary. To improve, focus on learning collocations and synonyms for common words. For example, instead of repeating 'online' or 'easy', try to use more descriptive terms like 'digital platforms', 'convenient', or 'cost-effective'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('many people are believe', 'a person have data package') and incorrect sentence structures. While some simple sentences are clear, the attempts at complex structures often contain errors that can impede communication. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Proofreading for common errors like 'dos not' instead of 'does not' will also help raise your score.
