IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In the forthcoming era, no one will purchased physical forms to read because they get everything online at zero cost. This essay completely agrees with this view because of the accessibility and convenience it will provide.

The first and foremost reason is that books and newspapers will be easier to get online than in stores. Nowadays people can get access to a wide range of information on various platforms without paying. Therefore, they do not need to spend hours in libraries and booksshops to find the reading material they want, which results in saving both time and money. In the future, this will become more common in the future with the advancements of technology. One clear example is the closure of a printed newspaper company in Pakistan, this may leads to the shortage of printed newspapers in future, shifting the next generation towards online materials.

Another compelling reason is that it is convenient to download all the study materials on smartphone via a single click. Due to this fact, people do not have to carry heavy physical form of books and they do need to allocate specific time for reading because they can ready efficiently during commuting or watching movies. In the future this trend will become more common as individuals find it to comfortable. For instance, in the future, people will become quiet busy in their jobs and household responsibilities, therefore, they would be able to keep themselves updated about the new developments and latest news online without allocating extra time reading physical books or newspapers.

In conclusion, nobody will purchase printed newspapers and books because they will be able to read everything online without spending money. I believe that this will happen because it is more accessible and convenient to read online.
