IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In coming times people due to access of online sites are more likely to read from, instead of chosing to read by purchasing books or newspapers.Reading from online sources is probably more easier and efficient rather than to invest money and time in searching particular book or newspaper.
Firstly,Personaly, I am agree with the statement becuase people nowadays do not want to waste time, if it can be used in a much more productive activity. A person working in an organization needs to complete a task in one day and needs resource to solve the task, so goin to a market and search for particular source of information is more time consuming why not access online in few clicks to save time. For example, Chat gpt or Claudi gives you whatever type of data you want.
Additionally, It is very expensive for readers of particular demographics to purchase article or novels, through which they can acquires knowledge.Online sources offers them the opportunity to save their money and get what is vital for them. A learner belongs to unprivliged family may not afford to purchase a book to learn new skill from a shop.However, he can foster a skill through usage of online sites.For example, Learn English with BBC youtube channel offer students different means to prepare themselves for IELTS exam.
In conclusion, I am sure of the statement, people will eventually opt to read and learn from online sites, in contrast to purchasing book. As online sites will save time and additionally reduce the expenditure on making catalogs for books.
