IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In future nobody have to buy nespaper or books because they will be able to read everything online without paying.
Nowadays social media is most popular arround the world as everybody have their own mobilephones coputers and many other electronic devices on which they would do anything.
On the one hand old people may prefer printed newspapers or books because majurity people could not have any kind of electric device like commonly mobile phones. For example nowadays most of old people read newspaper as usual in morning or or maybe in night just to know what is happening in their surrounding and worldwide.
On the other hand some of them could not have the practice to operate any kind of social device like mobilephone. They prefer to read the books or newspaper physicallly to spend their time. For example an old person sitting alone and read the newspaper queitly due to the reason is that he/she know the information in better way instead of mobile because they link friendly with the paper.
Moreover in future many individuals of old age could prefer physical reading of books and newspaper and they will pay for that. And teenagers always prefer online sources in future because in coming generation every single person have their own mobilephone or any other social device.
In my opinion i could prefer teenagers to read books and newspaper online in future the reason is that everybody use social media and they know about latest newses online.And majurity old people i would reccomed to read physically on paper.
In conclusion the main differece is in mindset of young generation and old generation. young generation always prefer online reading and in old generation some individuals could prefer physical reading on paper.
