IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In modern times, the issue of buy printed newspapers or books has become highly controversial. Although some people assert that nobody will buy newspapers or books because they want to read on online without paying. From my perspective, I largely agree with individuals wouldn't buy printed newspapers or books in the future, they want to read online everything without paying and this essay will explain why.
The primary reason for my agreement is that people can easily read everything and anytime. For instance, first of all printed books always heavy and individuals can to carry heavy books everywhere. When they stay at home, they read printed books. On the other hand, people want to read online because this is easy to carry and they can read anytime anywhere. As a result, when people stay in buses, cars, school, and traveling they can ready easily on online. Moreover, older people always read newspaper. If they read online newspaper, they can ready and understand any news.
Another reason for my agreement is that everyone can read anything because this books not paying for read. For example, many people can not buying books on library because they have financial problems, because of this they can not read books and newspapers. However, everyone would be able to read everything they want online without paying. As a result, children will be able to expand the scope of their knowledge and learn their academic subjects.
In conclusion, although everyone addicted on their phone but I argue that they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. Because they can learn for free and children can build their knowledge and they can learn everything for their study. Furthermore, most of the people have financial problem, because of this they can not buy printed books and newspaper, they always want to ready for free on online.
