IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In digital world, social media and live streaming provides free services to people across the world.Everyone will left newspapers and books to save their time in reading articles and money.
In these days, social media gives each thing free of cost to individuals, which is considered as fun in today's generation. Platforms like facebook, youtube and instagram are popular among citizens as they fullfills demands in more fun and entertainment way. Besides that, live streaming also facilitates the world by giving oppertunity of excitement by playing video games and watching movies on platforms such as netflix etc.
This changes the trend, peoples are using these platforms to get rid of newspapers. Reading is considerd as hard and boring thing as conpared to watching films and series, as it saves the time and provides the chill environment
which is enjoyed by the majority. Another factor is cost, as magzines and and newspapers required money for purchase. However,people prioritize internet.As it slowly replaces the books readers by providing advancement in the digital things.If people are not encourged to read books or news, there will be the complete end of this thing.
In conclusion, media platforms and streaming are playing role in providing the things to world without charges. The citizens are prioritizng their and money which are being saved by latest technology and it will finishes the book readers and news readers as well.
