IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern era, everyone starts technical devices. In the upcoming years , nobody will purchase paper or books because they will fing it online in free of cost.I partly agree with this view, because it has both merits and demarits .
To commence with, there are several supportive points associated with it. The most prominent point is, free of cost. To expalin with, most of the individuals watch online news or articals because they find it in easy way or in free of charge. Moreover, it is a good method to read books or attend classes online because there are many platforms which provide material without paying. For example, like youtube or chatgpt helps students to find information in short time without wasting time on finding informtion from long books. Therefore, from online we have lots of options. Some people do not afford paper books because of high price so they find online .
On the other hand, there are numerous disagree points, The first and fore most point is, effect on eyes. when individuals read or watch any artical, books, news online for long time it effects on their eyes . In addition, it decreases ability of thinking and creativity. To illustrate, it become very harmful for students because they do not focus on paper books and it reduces its physical activities. However, some online apps do not sell books in free because it decreases its productivity and economic development so they charge small amount for good or informative books.
In conclsion, after taking all the aspects in my cinsideration, I would like to emphzise that, it has both good or bad effects like, ebooks are easy to carry or it shows lots of options, or more informative but disagree side like, decrease person productivity or creativity. and it effects on children eyes.
