IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the future, the sale of newspapers and books will decreases beacuse of technology and people read everything on internet. Lets discuss its both aspects, In the past people were more prone to read whole newspaper and books beacuse there was no alternative present. The people were more intelligent and patience as compared to today generation. They didn't waste their time in meaningless activites rather they did was reading which enchnace knowledge and information. The reading from physical books and newspaper was used to be more convinent and need no additional technology like internet.

As compared to today, youth has like more to read from online data that additionally need internet. If you have no internet then how you read it, so indirectly it has become more expensive. Yes, everyting is become more conviente now you can read anywhere at any place but it requires internet which ultimately double the expense.

In the past, you can carry books with you anywhere and started reading and also now you can do it, just take mobile which has the book and read anywhere but not everything is free on internet. You have to pay for books, even if it is little, and internet which doubled the cost.

If the books are available, which is very rare beacuse the famous and hit one are not free according to my knowledge, then may be I am agree that nobody buy books. For example, I am still buy books beacuse I have to pay online and realises that by buying physical book is beneficial for my eyes and no headache of internet if it has problem.

In terms of medical, it is also beneficial for eyes. The laoptop and mobiles phones are greatly effect our eyes.

In conculsion, I am not agree with it beacuse it didn't like it myself to read online rather choose to buy books.
