IELTS Writing Task 2 question
In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the era of 90's even in some of the years of 20's, a good number of population had fond of buying magzines, books or novels and reading them.And I think that it was not bad, it was a good hobby and make person busy.Buying printed newspapers,books and novels can increase our knowledge betterly.
As, we are living in a modern era or the era of Social media.So, these types of hobbies like buying books,printed newspapers are becoming very low.Because, there is now a lot of online machinery including Mobile phones,TVs,Computers,Laptops,LEDs etc, which changes the act of buying books,newspapers or novels and reading them.
Even, the old persons who had fond of buy newspapers,books and reading are now also use social media,LEDs and Mobile phones.In this era, news are now delivered of different news chanels in LEDs and TVs.We can also listen the news on our mobile pjhones,computers,laptops etc.We can read books of our own taste using mobile phones,laptops etc.
Reading books or news online is not a bad hobby, but i think that buying books and magzines and reading them is the act of more happiness and fun and also make the person more busy.But we have to buy good and knowledgeable books or novels as, it can helps us in getting more knowledge and makes our mind fresh.Reading books or news online or buying them, both are good, but we have to take care of that we read good and knowledgeable books and newses.
In the coming era, i think that there will be no one who buy magzines and books. Because the coming era is of social media and social media has almost finished this type of entertainment by delivering it to the population online.
