IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Student answer (Band 5.5)

online media will replcae the conventional printed books and news papers.

i agree with the idea but wouldnt neglect the buying of conventional books and newspapers .

Due to significant advancement of digital media , things are presneted in such tempting and intresting way.

digital media shows more near to reality then the conventional ways and accesable without any hustle. News on digital media is telcasted that such visuals live coverage and explaintion telcasted live from seen , this makes i6t intresting and easily understandable ,like a football match is happening online .Before the game starts there is expert pannel briefing about different aspect of the match .Both teams strenghts and weekness along with sharing fans excitments and opinions .furthermore when the game starts every action and momrnt is coverd while in newspaper fes snaps and some paragrphs with limited information cobveys the saem thing in limited and boring way.

Printed literature and papers may lackthe aethetic aspect but accuracy and informations level is not leass than any. for any educational and formal information books and newspaper still the ist choice ,As certain individuals would prefer to have information but in the correct way, such as reading novels shows all the characters and uses the formals language to convey the whole situation which also gives the sense of formal writings.

To conclude both mediums , digiatl and covnetional books and newspapers have thier own significance but strongly agree that soon people will opt for online stuff than conventional modes of knwoledge and upadtes .
