In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
As the world is rapidly shifting on the digitalization. Anyone will get everything through online just on one click without going anywhere. In my opinion, I firmly believe that every person in the future will buy anything without paying.
Initally, in the current time everyone has their own personal mobile phone by which they can get access of everything without hesitation. Moreover, Artifical intelligence is very in nowadays, which helps peoples to get every type of news in free. By using the advanced technology, every single person find and catch the every moments in front of him. For example, if a person pays around a few portion of his income to buy magazines, books etc but after getting the access of any type of news in free through the social media platforms and also by watching the news channel, it will definately get helped.
Finally, there is also a factor which is time saving. By this, no one have to go for purchasing any type of paper from the market because when they have a free access and watch instantly as well as rapidly. In addition, everyone now is addicted to watching the screen no one has interest of reading books now. For instance, if no one has a source of getting these stuff online then it will surely getting this lately.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the statement that in future everyone get free access of eveything which is happening at that time in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing the shift toward online media and free access, taking a clear position in agreement with the statement. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive, with over-generalised arguments concerning technology and convenience. Additionally, the word count requirement is not met, as the essay falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum at 248 words. This has negatively impacted the task response score, resulting in a partial fulfillment of the prompt's structural demands. Consequently, the ideas remain somewhat under-developed, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors where the task is addressed only partially and the position lacks thorough expansion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay attempts a logical organisation with a clear introduction and conclusion, utilizing transitional markers such as 'Initally', 'Moreover', and 'Finally'. However, the paragraphing and cohesion are frequently mechanical and sometimes faulty. For instance, the chronological and logical progression between sentences within body paragraphs is hindered by awkward referencing, such as 'By this, no one have to go...' and 'if no one has a source of getting these stuff online then it will surely getting this lately.' These cohesive flaws make the overall progression difficult to follow at times. While an overarching structure is visible, the inappropriate and inaccurate use of cohesive devices places this response firmly at Band 5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The student attempts to use some less common vocabulary, such as 'digitalization' and 'platforms', but these are often accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'in free' instead of 'for free' or 'get the access of everything'. Repetition of basic terms is common, as seen with 'get', 'everything', and 'online'. Spelling and word-formation errors, such as 'Artifical' and 'definately', further detract from the quality of the writing. These inaccuracies cause occasional confusion for the reader, fitting the Band 5 profile where the vocabulary is limited and contains noticeable errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many attempts at complex sentences are faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('everyone now is addicted', 'no one have to go') and incorrect prepositions or verb forms ('it will definately get helped', 'everyone get free access'). Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also occasionally mishandled. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures, preventing the response from reaching a Band 6. The grammar aligns best with Band 5 due to the high density of structural errors.
