Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many books are printed every year in a large number as it is one of the most interested habit for most people in the world. In the upcoming years, people will not purchase printed material because they will be able to access everything they want free of charge. For my perspective, i agree with this attitude as it would elaborated for incoming line in terms of the high cost of printing and the accessibility for these materials.
In the past, books and newspapers were printed which was high-priced beside the cost of papers and ink used in printing. purchasing printed newspapers or books could be complicated for some people in terms of its cost. Therefore, some families believes that buying this printed materials could be a financial burden for them. So, they would prefer to download them from online websites as it costs almost zero pounds. Consequently, many printing houses have stopped printing.
Accessibility of these materials was sophisticated in the past. Searching for a specific book or paper you need was taking ample time and effort. On the other hand, currently, finding material all around on the internet make it easier and fastest to access what you need. As a result, many world renowned publishers such as BBC and CNN have created their online website where the audience can access their materials rapidly.
In conclusion, shifting from printing materials using papers and ink to make them all available on the internet do a great job in saving money and reducing the effort to access them. This due to increasing the number of netizens.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task partially, outlining a clear position that you agree with the statement regarding free online access and the high cost of printing. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, while you mention that 'some families believes that buying this printed materials could be a financial burden', this point is not fully extended or supported with deeper reasoning or broader examples. To reach a higher level, you need to explore your main arguments with more thorough explanations and fully develop each part of the prompt rather than relying on brief supporting statements.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organization present, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and you attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Therefore', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the overall progression is not always clear, and some linking words are inaccurate or mechanical. For example, the transition at the beginning of the second paragraph feels abrupt, and referencing is sometimes imprecise, such as using 'these materials' without a completely smooth connection. To improve cohesion, you should ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one and that cohesive devices are used more naturally to guide the reader seamlessly through your arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is minimally adequate for the task, but the range is quite limited. There are noticeable errors in word choice, form, and collocation that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, such as writing 'one of the most interested habit' instead of 'interesting hobbies', or using 'incoming line' when you likely meant 'upcoming years'. Phrases like 'accessibility for these materials' also show minor prepositional and collocational inaccuracies. To achieve a higher score, you should demonstrate a wider and more precise range of vocabulary, incorporating less common lexical items accurately and avoiding repetitive phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay displays a limited range of sentence structures, and your attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are recurrent errors in grammar and punctuation, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'some families believes', article misuse such as 'on the internet make it easier', and tense inconsistencies. For instance, the sentence 'This due to increasing the number of netizens' lacks a main verb entirely. These frequent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader. To progress, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring correct verb forms, and increasing your control over more complex grammatical patterns.
