In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Student answer (Band 5.5)

in the upcoming epoch noone would purchase newspaper or books owing to they would be capanle to read everything they want online without paying . i partially agree with this statement . this essay will further elaborate myviewpoints and thus will lead to a logical conclusion .

By analyising the statement and explaining further the first and foremost reason is that it is the best way to save money . To Explain it more clear , providing or achieving , taking newspaper is wastage of money but in mobile phones its a best way to read news anytime as well as they can carry anywhere anytime . its a convenient way to time . like people can read in any language or any state global news which they want to read . moreover nowadays its has become a trend to post any news on social ,media thats a convenient way to hear or watch news anytime anywhere anytime

On the other hand , if its become a trend to online news its has loss for newspaper company or perhaps some news gets fake on soical media that impact or maybe make them panic . some rumours are worst for people by which they get tensed so that why morepeople prefer paper based news paper which they assume that accurate news . morever senior citizens prefer to read paper based news bacause of their old habbits they used to connected with that . apart from this , old people have no their own mobile phones , technologies so that s why they relish to read paper based news .

To recaptilate, from the arguments as ,mentioned above its is clear that both side has pros and cons but owadays its has become trend to read news through socail media or some news apps on mobile phones or others news apps , websites , status on phones . so according to my perspective , online newspaper is best source for getting news in few minutes as comapred to paper news whichg requires a lot of time for parceling or delivering .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear, though qualified, position in the introduction (“i partially agree”) and discuss relevant reasons on both sides: online access can save money and provide convenient access, while printed newspapers may seem more reliable and suit older readers. However, the position becomes less consistent in the conclusion, where you call online newspapers the “best source,” without clarifying how this fits partial agreement. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, the claim that online news is free and the concern about fake news need clearer support. The response addresses the topic, but its ideas remain limited and under-developed. To strengthen it, explain whether free online access will actually replace printed books as well as newspapers, and develop each main reason with a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through your discussion, and phrases such as “On the other hand” signal a change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. For instance, the first body paragraph moves from saving money to portability, languages, and social media without clearly showing how each point supports the main claim. Linking phrases such as “moreover” and “apart from this” are sometimes repetitive or do not establish a precise relationship. Organise each paragraph around one central idea, then explain and illustrate it before moving on; use clearer referencing and fewer formulaic transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “convenient,” “rumours,” “senior citizens,” and “accurate news,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “its a convenient way to time,” “hear or watch news,” and “paper based news paper.” Spelling errors such as “analyising,” “soical,” and “recaptilate” are also noticeable, alongside repeated use of “news” and “anytime.” Build a more reliable set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise phrases such as “access news conveniently,” “printed newspapers,” and “misinformation on social media,” and avoid repeating the same general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can usually identify your main position and examples. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation can make the argument hard to follow. For example, “if its become a trend to online news its has loss” contains several problems in the clause structure and verb forms, while “people can read in any language or any state global news” is difficult to parse. Capitalisation and spacing around punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed supporting clause, such as “Although online news is convenient, some readers still trust printed newspapers more.” Then proofread for complete sentences, subject–verb agreement, and apostrophes.
