Student answer (Band 5.0)
The debate surrounding the printed newspaper or books versus online reading has long been a topic pf discussion in this world. While some individuals argued that printed newpaper or books offers the best method for reading in the future as well. In contrast some argues that in the future individuals prefer newspaper on social media. From my perspectives, in the future, peoples would not brought the newspaper or books as they come across everything on social media. Reading online paper offers several benefits. Firstly, reading news on social media facilitates peoples to acquire informations without wasting money. For instance, individuals who desire to obtain news however they have no money to pay the price for newspaper daily, they easily access to read information without pay the price. Secondly, peoples can equips information anywhere as they stayed. As you know we are living in rush world where peoples have not sufficient time for themselves and are so busy that they donot have time to read newspaper for those peoples this method is really helpful. Thirdly, Newspaper is only one resources to acquire information but when its come to social media, there are a lot of sites where we can easily get information such as wattsapp Instagram, Twitter and youtube etc. Fourthly, Newspaper donot provides validity and reliability of news such as old peoples read inormation from newspaper and they have only source of getting information but they could not verify the news but now a days and even future peoples convinently acquire the validity of news for instance they can assure from otehr sites whether this information is right or wrong. However, It is essential to recognize the value of reading newspaper or books because only a bookish person knows the worth of reading books.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is broadly clear: you agree that people will increasingly choose online reading, and you give relevant reasons such as free access, convenience and the range of online sources. These points show an attempt to address the question, but the response only partially develops the issue. The prompt asks whether nobody will buy printed books or newspapers in the future; your discussion focuses mainly on advantages of online news and does not explain why printed books, in particular, might disappear or continue to be bought. The final concession that books have value is not explained or reconciled with your position. Develop both sides of the claim and make your degree of agreement explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable opening, a sequence of supporting points and a brief concession, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “However” help identify the intended structure. However, the ideas do not progress clearly from one paragraph to the next: nearly all the reasons are crowded into one long body paragraph, and the final sentence introduces the value of books without developing that contrast. Several transitions are mechanical, while repeated references to “peoples” and “information” make the flow repetitive. Some links are also unclear, particularly the shift from the limited reliability of newspapers to online verification. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and counterargument, and connect each example directly to its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “acquire,” “validity and reliability,” “verify” and “access,” so the reader can understand the general subject and your main reasons. However, the range is limited by repeated basic words such as “information,” “people” and “newspaper,” and several choices or collocations are inaccurate. For example, “acquire informations” and “equips information” are not natural expressions, while “newspaper on social media” does not clearly describe online news. Spelling errors such as “newpaper,” “inormation” and “convinently” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling; vary repeated terms with suitable alternatives such as “readers,” “digital news” and “access content.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because” and “where,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “some individuals argued that … offers,” where the tense and subject agreement do not match, and “peoples would not brought,” which has an incorrect verb form. Agreement and sentence construction are also problematic in “Newspaper donot provides” and “peoples can equips.” Several long sentences run together, especially the sentence beginning “As you know,” so punctuation does not consistently clarify the relationships between ideas. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and divide long sentences into shorter, complete units.
