Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this contemporary world, it is irrefutable that, In the upcoming generation none of them will buy physical news pepers or books because they will able to read everything that they want on internet, with zero cost. Prior to my stance. I strongly agree with this statements because digital tools helps individuals into every aspect of daily life. I will elaborate on my point of view that what would be better for future in the upcoming paragraphs with appropriate examples.

First and formost that, technology is becoming increasingly popular throughout the world. Moreover, because of technology all task are done by internet and this trend will rise over the time period and there will be no phsical news papers. In addition, the public has phones, leptops and computers they watch everything on phone. There are several types of application which provide appropriate information such as BBC, Inshort, Indian express, Gujarat news paper, Thus everything with zero expense then it preserves time because it is precious resources it should be used wisely.

Furthermore, another significant reason is short news. The public has not adequate time for reading long paragraphs which consume a large number time. For instance, Inshort news is prominent news paper source which provides apprpriate information in a single click.

However, it is not overlooked, The pace of online news papers eventhough individuals read phisical news paper because it provides deep information and nostalgic vibe and conservative people prefer old method rather than new ones. Some cizens prefer booklet news paper instend of E news because it helps to read any time without internest they can just carry it on they arms. For instance, during poor quaility of internest booklet news paper provide significant information of daily affairs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that online access will reduce the purchase of printed newspapers and books. You give relevant reasons, including convenience, free access and the speed of short news, and you acknowledge a counterpoint by noting that print offers deeper information and works without an internet connection. This addresses the task, but the discussion is uneven: the reasons for online reading receive more attention, while the point about printed books is barely developed and the counterargument is not fully weighed against your position. Some claims, such as “all task are done by internet,” are broad and need qualification or support. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or example, and make the conclusion reflect the balance of your discussion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs, a counterargument and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore” and “However” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from technology to devices, applications, cost and time without explaining how each point connects. Some transitions are mechanical, and “Prior to my stance” does not clearly introduce your opinion. The final paragraph repeats your agreement rather than drawing together the main reasoning. Use topic sentences that state one central idea, then develop it in a logical sequence, and make references such as “this trend” clearly identify the idea being discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “digital tools,” “nostalgic vibe,” “conservative people” and “daily affairs.” These choices show an effort to discuss both modern media and the appeal of print. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “news pepers,” “phsical news papers,” “appropriate information” and “poor quaility of internest.” Some wording is also imprecise: “short news” and “booklet news paper” do not clearly express the intended meanings. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Reusing a smaller set of precise terms, such as “online news,” “printed newspapers” and “internet access,” would make the argument clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. Examples include “they will able to read,” “technology … helps individuals into every aspect,” and “all task are done by internet,” where verb forms, agreement or sentence construction are faulty. Punctuation also creates fragments, notably “Prior to my stance.” Capitalisation after commas and at the start of sentences is inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and verb forms. Breaking long sentences into shorter, accurately controlled units would improve readability while you develop more complex structures.
