Student answer (Band 5.0)
The tecnology change the world now people do their many work on mobile phone or other devices live laptop and computer. In future nobody will buy the newspapers and books they simply read them online. In my opinion, this will be good use of tecnology especialy for the students. The stydents who belong from the poor family will be able to download the book and read them without spending any money. It also able the common peoples to read the books witch they like and increase their knowledge. There will be no need of the newspapers because the people read every news from the internet witch also save the money of the people. The peole will get every news at the time when the news is happend. It will creat a big change in world. It also save the cost of printing and pages the pepole use their money on other things. It will aslo save a lot of trees of the world as we that the books and the news papers are made by the pages and the pages are made by the trees. If nobody by the book from the market then the componies those prinet books will stop printing the books this will save the lot of trees and make the world more beautiful.
In short, the newspapers and books available on the internet not only help the students and pepole to save their money. It also save the greenery of the world and make the world more beautiful.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you support the idea that people will read newspapers and books online, and you give relevant reasons, including lower costs, easier access for students from poorer families, faster news, and reduced paper use. These points show a response to the topic, but the discussion is only partly developed. For example, you say online reading will “increase their knowledge” and “save a lot of trees,” but do not explain these benefits in detail or provide a specific example. The response also treats the prediction as certain and does not consider any limitation, such as people who prefer printed books. Develop fewer points more fully and make your degree of agreement explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic overall shape: it introduces your view, gives supporting reasons, and ends with a short summary. The ideas about cost, access, news, and trees are relevant, and phrases such as “In short” help signal the conclusion. However, most of the discussion is placed in one long paragraph, so the progression between separate reasons is difficult to follow. Several points are joined with repeated “and” or “also,” and the final paragraph repeats benefits already mentioned rather than bringing the argument together. Use separate body paragraphs for distinct reasons, and connect each point with clear explanation and reference. This would make the organisation easier to follow and reduce repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “download,” “internet,” “printing,” and “trees,” so the main ideas can generally be understood. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “people,” “world,” “save,” and “books.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “tecnology,” “peole,” “witch,” and “componies,” which make the writing less clear and less controlled. Some expressions are unnatural, for example “good use of technology” and “belong from the poor family.” Build a wider set of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully; this will help you express the same ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional structure with “If nobody…”. This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “The technology change the world” needs a correctly formed verb, while “It also save” and “the news is happend” show problems with agreement and tense. The sentence beginning “If nobody buy…” is also difficult to control and needs a clear main clause. Practise accurate present and future forms, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
