In the future people will not buy a printed broadsheet or books due to they will be able to learn everything in online without money. I agree this statment because many people read online more easily and without spending money.

On the one hand, many people not bought the advertisement or books because they will be read online news articles. It saves time and money. Furthermore, technology has a profound impact on people lives, many folks has addicted to the technology. As a result, people spend too much time on your mobile phones and social media so they can easily learn newspaper on their mobile phones and without payment. Online information is easily available. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is stated in the introduction and conclusion, and you address both the advantages of online reading and reasons printed materials may remain in use. Examples such as your father reading news digitally and students understanding printed books help keep the discussion relevant. However, the position is not fully consistent: you first say you agree that print will disappear, then argue that both formats will continue, and finally say you partly agree that they will completely disappear. The reasons are also brief and sometimes unclear, particularly the point about older people finding online news difficult. Make your degree of agreement consistent and explain the main reasons in more depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” make the broad direction easy to follow. However, connections within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical, and some ideas are placed together without a clear link. For example, the claim that technology has a profound impact is followed by a statement about addiction, but the relationship to the disappearance of print could be explained more directly. The final body paragraph also shifts from older readers to students and then to a general prediction. Use clearer links between each reason and the main argument, and avoid repeating the same conclusion in different forms.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “digital platform,” “social media,” “printed materials,” and “convenient.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “technology has a profound impact.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning awkward: “learn newspaper,” “turning page with their books,” and “buy the advertisement” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “statment” and “newpapers” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural phrases for reading and publishing, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, using connectors such as “because,” “although,” and “as a result.” This gives the response some variety, but control is inconsistent, and errors occur often enough to make several sentences difficult to read. Examples include “many people not bought,” “many folks has addicted,” and “they will be like to turning page,” where verb forms and sentence patterns are faulty. There are also problems with articles, plurals and agreement, as in “a newspapers” and “people lives.” Practise forming accurate present and future statements, especially with subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly structured clause.
