Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and refer to the central topic of free online access to newspapers and books. However, the response stops before explaining the reasons promised by “this can carry out from several reasons”; no reasons, examples, or discussion of whether printed material will disappear are provided. As a result, the task is addressed only minimally and the position is not supported or developed. The response also does not meet the required minimum of 250 words, leaving substantial parts of the task unanswered. To improve, develop two or three relevant reasons, support each with an example, and consider the future of print rather than only describing current online availability.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has a basic line of thought: it mentions online availability, says people prefer these platforms, and then gives an opinion. The phrase “so many individual are prefred this platform” provides a simple link between the topic and your position. However, the ideas are compressed into one paragraph and one long sentence, with no clear progression from an introduction to supporting points or a conclusion. The final phrase promises reasons but does not introduce any. Use separate paragraphs for your position and each supporting reason, and connect them with clear transitions such as “First” and “Furthermore.” This would make the argument easier to follow and give the response a more coherent overall arrangement.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “newspapers,” “books,” “online platform,” and “without paying,” so the reader can identify the subject of your response. There is also an attempt to express a preference and a clear opinion. However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the phrasing less natural, such as “avilable,” “prefred,” and “benificial.” Expressions such as “certain type of website” and “get any type of things” are vague or awkward. Build a more precise topic vocabulary—for example, terms for digital publications, subscription costs, and the convenience of online reading—and check spelling and collocations carefully. This will help you express relevant ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to combine ideas using “because” and “so,” and the reader can generally understand the intended point. However, the response relies on a single extended sentence, and control of basic sentence forms is inconsistent. For example, “anybody do not want to purchased” has an incorrect verb form and subject–verb construction, while “both are available on online” has an unnecessary preposition. The sentence beginning “I completely agree” also runs into “why I agree this can carry out,” without a clear grammatical connection. Use shorter, complete sentences and practise subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. A wider range of accurately controlled structures will make your argument clearer.
