On the one hand, reading online has several advantages. First and foremost, it is conventient and save time because people can access newspapers, books and other information through smartphones, tablets and computers. They no need to visit a library and payment to the books because all thr books are available in the digital platform and free form payment. Secondly online information is often availble free and not profound the information as well as only main information highlighted, so easily read.and which makes it affordable for studemts and people with limited incomes. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the central question and give a position: online reading is convenient, but you do not expect printed materials to disappear. The paragraph about online access includes relevant support, such as students downloading study materials, and you also mention concentration and eye strain as reasons to keep print. However, the position is not fully clear: “I partially disagree” is followed by “I disagree,” without explaining the extent of your disagreement. The claim that online information is free is treated as broadly true, while the task’s prediction about whether nobody will buy print is not examined in enough depth. Develop both sides more evenly and explain why print will remain valuable despite online access.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting online reading, a contrasting paragraph about print, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, particularly in the sentence beginning “Secondly online information,” where several claims run together. The transition “Contradicting to the earlier statement” is awkward, and the final sentence introduces a general point about situations without clearly connecting it to the argument. Use clearer topic sentences and link each supporting example directly to the point it illustrates; check that pronouns and references have an unmistakable meaning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “digital platforms,” “physical books,” “distraction,” and “limited incomes.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both the convenience of online reading and the continuing appeal of print. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand, such as “expansion in newspapers,” “overcoming days,” and “free form payment.” Spelling errors, including “tremedous,” “availble,” and “studemts,” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully. For example, describe the growth of digital media, say that online reading saves time, and explain that materials are available free of charge.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason-and-example structure: “For example, students can download free study materials…” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “printed newspaper and book wil no longer purchase,” “They no need to visit,” and “many people prefer reading physical books because they can concentration.” Some sentences are fragments or are joined unclearly, such as “which should not be neglected” and “Unlike digital device can be some eye strain problem occurs.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense before adding extra clauses.
