Student answer (Band 6.0)
Due to rapid growth in modern advancements, we have everything in our hand as we can access to internet at anytime we want and also gather any information. In upcoming days people will not buy printed newspapers or books since they have access in online so they can read anything they want without cost. I firmly agree that people will prefer online copies in near future as it will save money and also it is available in any location.
As we are now living in a fast-paced world, we all have updated mobile phone with unlimited wifi service as a result we can search news in online by the use of internet. We can read newspaper in online whenever we want on internet while previously we had to wait for the delivery of newspaper. Furthermore, we have to pay a charge monthly for the delivery of newspaper which is actually an extra cost. In future, people will be more dependent on technological advancements, consequently they will prefer online copies due to its availability rather than printed ones as well as it will be more economical as they do not have to pay more charge. For example, in some underdeveloped countries, some needy people are noticed who sell newspaper in different railway or bus station but people are not interested in buying printed copies as they have online copies which indicates a future when there will no printed be available.
There are so many public library where we can read book but the problem is due to insufficinet seating arragement, people are losing interest to go in a library. Furthermore, there are numerous aesthetics book shop but the price of the book is so high that people can not afford. To find a specific kind of books, people have to visit in diffrent shop which is time consuming. As a result, people find it more comfortable to read books online as all the books are now available in e-learning platform.
In conclusion, there is no doubt that online copies will dominated in the near future over printed copies and i agree with the statement because it allows reader to read anytime and also saves money and time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you firmly agree that online reading will become more popular because it is convenient and economical. You address both newspapers and books, and the body paragraphs give relevant reasons, including instant access to news, delivery costs, library seating, and book prices. However, the claim that nobody will buy printed material is not examined in much depth. The newspaper example about people selling papers at stations does not clearly prove that printed copies will disappear, and the book paragraph focuses mainly on current inconveniences rather than explaining why online access will replace print in the future. Develop these points with clearer reasoning and acknowledge a possible limitation or counterargument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on newspapers and books, and a conclusion that restates your view. Ideas generally progress in a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “As a result,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This already gives the essay a coherent shape. To make the progression more natural and precise, avoid relying on the same additive links and ensure each example directly supports the paragraph’s main claim. For instance, the railway-station example is introduced after a point about online availability, but its connection to the prediction that printed newspapers will disappear is not fully explained. Clearer referencing and transitions between claims would strengthen cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “fast-paced world,” “technological advancements,” “availability,” and “dependent,” which helps communicate the topic and your reasons. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “access in online,” “search news in online,” “aesthetics book shop,” and “dominated” in the conclusion. Spelling errors such as “insufficinet,” “arragement,” and “diffrent” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, but they limit precision and naturalness. Build a bank of topic-specific collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for example, use “access the internet,” “search for news online,” and “bookshops.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, using clauses with “as,” “while,” “which,” and “as a result.” This gives the essay some structural variety, and the main meaning is generally clear. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “we have everything in our hand” needs a plural form, “there are so many public library” has a number-agreement error, and “online copies will dominated” uses the wrong verb form. There are also awkward preposition patterns, as in “go in a library.” Review these recurring patterns and proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms. More consistently accurate complex sentences would improve control.
