Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a clear position in favour of the statement, saying, “I am agree to this statement,” and give relevant reasons: online reading is convenient, saves money, and provides faster access to news and information. The comparison between waiting for the next day’s newspaper and reading news as it happens is a useful supporting point. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because it largely repeats the claim that online material is easy to access, rather than developing distinct arguments. It also does not examine the important condition that people can read everything online without paying, or consider why some readers may continue to buy printed books and newspapers. Explain and support your main reasons more fully, and make the extent of your agreement explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an opening, several body paragraphs and a concluding statement, so the reader can identify its general direction. Some sequencing is also apparent: you move from the general shift to online reading to easier searching and faster news access. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear because the first two paragraphs repeat the same prediction, and several ideas are joined in long strings without clear relationships. Connectors such as “therefore” and “however” are attempted, but their use does not always clarify how one point follows from another. Paragraphs would be more effective if each developed one distinct reason, with a clear topic sentence and supporting explanation. Use pronouns and linking phrases carefully so references such as “that” and “they” have clear meanings.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “printed newspaper,” “websites,” “mobile phones,” “newspapers,” and “digitalization,” and you attempt to express ideas about convenience, cost and access. However, vocabulary is limited and repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “easy” and “read,” which restricts precision. There are also frequent spelling errors, for example “everythng,” “avalible,” “socil,” “gloab,” and “benificial”; these can make the reader pause. Some combinations are unnatural, such as “read anything realated to books to newpapers” and “very cheaper.” Build a wider set of accurate expressions for online access, affordability and printed media, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can usually understand your main point. However, the range of structures is limited, and attempts to combine several ideas often produce faulty sentences. For example, “In, the future everything will be easely avalible on socil media no one will purchase books” needs clearer sentence boundaries, while “Before people was spending money” has incorrect tense and subject–verb agreement. Other recurring problems include “I am agree,” “they will be became,” missing or incorrect articles, and inconsistent use of singular and plural nouns. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate present and past forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex clauses.
