Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You state a clear position in the third paragraph: “I agree with this statement,” and give relevant reasons, including convenience, quick access to information, and the availability of online material without payment. These points address the topic, but the response only partially develops the question. The opening focuses on past reading habits, while the conclusion is cut off at “As old pat,” so it does not provide a complete final judgement. The claim that people will not buy print is also asserted rather than supported with specific explanation, and the discussion does not consider why some readers may continue to prefer printed books or newspapers. Develop fewer points with examples and explain the extent of your agreement consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has separate paragraphs for background, digital access, your opinion, and a conclusion, so there is some organisation. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow: the first paragraph gives extended background, and the main position appears only in the third. Connections between ideas are often unclear, as in “Because no digital media involved in such as we latest use,” and the final paragraph ends abruptly. Linking words such as “however” and “in my opinion” are used, but they do not always show the precise relationship between points. Plan a clear sequence—position, reason one, reason two, and conclusion—and use accurate references and transitions to connect each paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “digital media,” “latest news,” “free of cost,” and “Artificial intelligence,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “in future,” “any topic,” and “with the help of.” Some word choices and collocations make meaning unclear, such as “enhance in mind knowledge,” “inner peace,” and “saved all history.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “lenghty,” “Artifcial,” and “conclosion.” Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing access, cost, convenience, and reader preferences, and check spelling and natural word combinations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast with “however” and a conditional question: “if some books lost how they will find it?” However, control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Examples include “people used newspapers and books to enhance their knowledge and like to read,” “Mostly people buy new books for read,” and “Whenever anybody want to see any topic they just one click.” These show problems with verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. Several clauses are joined without clear punctuation, and the final sentence is incomplete. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a complete structure.
