IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagram illustrates the procedure of how noodles are manufactured in factory.

Overall, the whole preparing process consists of eight stages that begins from storage to mixer and finishes at lableling.

In the first step, the flour is picked from storage silos and sent to the mixer where water and oil is mixed. Then the rollers passess this to next stage which is making dough sheets. Sheets are made from the dough which is made by the mixture of oil, flour, water.

Moving forward it is sent to the next stage where the dough sheets cutts according to the requirements and measurements, proceeding to the noodles dics which then send the discs for cooking and frying.

The second last step is adding vegetable and spices into small packets which we can find in the noodles cups. Finally at the eighth step the cups get sealed and labels are given according to the flavours they contain, like if it is spicy noodles it is labelled as Chatpata.

After the manufacturing process, these cups are ready sale and you can also store them for long period of time.
