The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagram demonstrates the manufacturing process of noodles from flour which involves different types of machines .

The process starts from the flour which come from trucks to silo storage. Flour is added along with water in a mixer which mix them and makes dough sheets with the help of rollers . Dough passes from a machine which creates strips of dough. After that an equipment makes noodles discs . It is a continuous processes cooking oil is also added on noodles discs and dry them. Next process is packing them so noodles are filled in cups . After that vegetables and spices are added in cups according to the flavor . Last step is to seal the cup and label them . After that they are ready to go in markets.

The main ingredient is water and flour. The production plant is a also major part which is used in the process of manufacturing noodles .
