Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers the main stages of the process, but the description is somewhat superficial. While you identify the key steps, the explanation of the process lacks detail in several areas, such as the specific transformation of the dough into strips or the precise nature of the 'end machine'. The overview is present but slightly disjointed. To improve, ensure you provide a more cohesive summary of the entire manufacturing cycle rather than just listing steps. The information is accurate, but the lack of depth in explaining the mechanical transitions prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the sequence of events. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'whereas' is used incorrectly to introduce a list of tools, and 'in end machine' is confusing. The transition between sentences is sometimes abrupt, making the flow feel stilted. To improve, focus on using linking words like 'subsequently', 'following this', or 'once completed' to create a smoother progression between the stages of the manufacturing process.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate to describe the process, but there are several instances of awkward word choice and incorrect collocations. Phrases like 'noodles are sale in every places' and 'noodles shaped id given' are unnatural and impede clarity. You rely on basic terminology and struggle with technical descriptions of the machinery. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to industrial processes, such as 'conveyor belt', 'automated', 'extruded', or 'packaging', and ensure you use nouns and verbs in their correct forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, particularly regarding subject-verb agreement and article usage. Examples include 'the process of instant noodles are manufactured' (should be 'how instant noodles are manufactured') and 'the noodles is dried' (should be 'the noodles are dried'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after periods and incorrect capitalization. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your accuracy.
