IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The process chart illustrates the production of instant noodles by using flour.

Overall, the process contains eight stages which starts with storage of silos and ends with labelling along sealing.In addition, some stages are very complex and high level machinaries are used throughout the manufacturing.

Initially, the flour has stored in storage silos by truck.Then, it was dispatched to next stage where mixing takes place by adding sufficent amount of water and oil.Next, the mixer is converted into dough sheets by the help of rollers.Subsequently, these sheets are formed to strips by using the strip machine.

Furthermore, dough sheets had changed to noodles discs by using the circular moulds.In the following step, cooking oil has applied to discs and dried.In addition, the noodles discs has stored in cups with vegetables and spices.Finally, these are undergoes labelling and sealing process and packed as a instant noodles for selling as wholesale to shops
