The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagram displays the manufacturing process of instant noodles in a factory.

Overall the whole process comprises of eight steps, from Storage Silos to Labelling, they prepared in a sequential way and after completion of this procedure they will be available to use.

Initially, the flour is taken out from the storage silos and sent it to the mixer, where flour is mixed with some oil and water, then this fine mixture goes through rollers. Rollers transform this mixture into fine dough sheets which is a third step in the preparing process.

In the fourth step, dough sheets are converted into individual strips, moving forward to the next step these strips are combined to form noodle discs.

In sixth step, noodles discs fried in cooking oil and after frying they dried the discs, fills the cups with noodles discs.

In the seventh step, spices and vegetables are added in the cups in small packets which varies according to the flavor, in Chicken noodles they add less spicy or in Chatpata they add extra spices.

In the final step, labels are added to the cups of noodles and they get sealed after this whole labelling process.
