Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response covers the main stages of the process, but the description is somewhat superficial. While you identify the key steps, the explanation of the process lacks detail and precision. For instance, the transition from 'dough sheets' to 'dough strips' is mentioned, but the mechanical nature of the process is not clearly explained. The overview is present but could be more effectively integrated. To improve, ensure you describe the flow of the process more logically and provide a more comprehensive summary of the transformation of the raw materials into the final product.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the sequence. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'The next is' and 'Then' are used frequently, making the flow feel mechanical rather than fluid. There is a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect the stages of the manufacturing process. To improve, try using a wider variety of transition signals such as 'subsequently', 'following this', or 'once the process is complete' to create a more natural progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic. You rely on simple verbs like 'bought', 'added', and 'done'. There is little attempt to use more precise, technical vocabulary related to industrial processes, such as 'conveyed', 'processed', 'extruded', or 'dehydrated'. While the meaning is clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Incorporating more specific terminology related to manufacturing would significantly enhance the quality of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains several grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the writing. There are issues with sentence structure, such as 'The above diagram illustrates, the process of instant noodles how instant noodles are manufactured' and 'the it gone through dough strips'. Subject-verb agreement and tense consistency are also problematic in places. While simple sentences are generally understandable, the attempts at more complex structures often result in errors. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
