IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The process diagram illustrates making of instant noodles from storage to market.

The process begins with, flour is being transported and placed by truck into storage tanks. Water and oil are added with flour in mixer. These mixture is inserted on rollers through sheets. This process is again repeated by dough strips.

The process continue with discs in which noodles are being placed. Next noodles are cooked with oil. After this step it is dried using dryer. Mixing of vegetables and spices are added with noodles. These mixture is being inserted into small cups. Before labelling process sealing is done on cups. Finally, instant noodles are ready for transport and available for consumers around the world.

Overall, making of instant noodles consist of seven process such as store, mixing, applying on rollers, cooking, drying, insert into cups and labelling.
