The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates various stages of involved in the production of instant noodles. Overall, the manufacture process consists of several stages, beginning with import from storage silos and ending with labeling. These all process takes 8 stages to make ready instant noodles.

Initially, manufacturing starts from the raw material of noodles which is flour is bring in from the storage silos to the factory of noodles. In the next step, flour emptying into the big mixer and add some water and oil for mixing up all things together. Then prepared dough passes through a big roller and prepares dough sheets. A striping machine make strips of the dough sheets in fourth step. These big sheets pass through two big striping machine in the factory which cuts the entire sheets into strips. On the fifth step, these dough strips convert into noodle discs. Where those all discs gets dry and cooked by big stove, which is the 6th part of the manufacturing of noodles. This is the longest and time consuming process in entire manufacturing. Moving forward in this process cooked and dried noodle discs put by machine in the cups and adding vegies and spices in it. And the last process of sealing and labeling the readymade cups. Then noodles are ready to sell in the market.
