The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the steps of manufacturing of instant noodles.

Overall, the steps generally start from storing flour to silos and ended up by labeling the product. In between, the process has to go through several steps such as mixing, rolling and labeling.

Primarily, to produce instant noodles, the main material is the flour, which needs to store in silos. After that, it should be mixed with water and oil before entering rollers, which makes sheets. Initially, this mixer generates dough sheets, which is then converted to dough strips. For drying the noodles, it is necessary to make discs of noodles and add cooking oil to the discs.

For marketing and selling, packaging is essential and to do so, the manufacturer companies usually use cups for instant noodles. In the cups, they add vegetables and spices with noodles. At the end, they label and seal the product, which makes the product ready for marketing.
