The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The diagram shows the steps the factories need to go through to make instant noodles

Overall, the first step is to put flour into storage silos and then it goes into 6 other steps before sealing and labelling which is the last step before manufacturing instant noodles.

The second step is mixing the flour with water and oil, then putting the mix into the rollers to make it a dough sheet. After that you put the dough sheet into a machine to make it dough strips then shaping the strips into discs. The last three steps are cooking the discs, putting the discs into cups with vegetable and spices, and the last step is sealing and labelling the cups with brand's name then selling the instant noodles.

In conclusion, instant noodles is not easy to make as it seems because it needs so much working on machines and so much effort.
