The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram demonstrates the process of manufacturing of instant noodles. Beginning from Storing flour to Labelling and sealing of noodles packets the process completed in eight stages.
To begin with, storage of flour in a storage silos., From that required quantity of flour has been transferred to a mixer, with the flour water and oil also putted into the mixer. All three ingredients mixed properly and a big dough has been formed.
Following this, when the dough is passed from the rollers a thin sheet of dough was obtained, and that sheet passed through a cutter machines, which cut sheet and forms strips. Subsequently, that strips converts into noodle discs.
Next, some cooking oil is spread on it and drying them to fill the dry discs into cups with vegetables and spices. Finally, cups are ready for labelling and sealing, and the labelled packed cups of noodles are ready for dispatch.
Overall, the process consist of eight distinct stages, which can be grouped into two main phases: preparation of noodle disc and filling them to cups.
