The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 7.0)

The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing instant noodles, beginning with the storage of flour and ending with the labelling and sealing of noodle packets. The entire procedure is completed in eight distinct stages.

To start, flour is stored in silos. From there, the required quantity is transferred to a mixer, where water and oil are added. These ingredients are thoroughly combined to form dough.
