The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The given illustration helps us to understand how instant noodles are made in a factory.

The process involve getting the ingredients for making noodles, passing them through different stages and finally noodle strips are made and packaged.

At the very start, floor is delivered to storage silos. Furthermore, it is passed to a mixer where the floor is mixed with water and oil. Moreover, the mixture is then passed to rollers which make dough sheets of the given material. Next, these sheets are passed through a machine which converts them into strips.

Afterwards, these strips are converted into discs and then passed to a machine which adds cooking oil to them and also dry them. Additionally, these dry discs are then passed to another stage where they are placed into cups and vegetables and spices are added to them. Finally, the cups are then properly sealed and labeling, which includes company name; as well as, the ingredients used to make the noodles is placed on the packages.
