The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The diagram illustrates the process involved in the manufactured of instant noodles, from the initial storage of flour to the final packaging of the finished product.

Overall, the production process consist of eight main stages. It begins with storage of soils and ends with noodles being placed in cups, labelled and sealed. Between this stages the flour mixed with water, then it make dough, dough strips, noodles discs before cooking and drying.

Initially, flour is stored in a large storage soils before it going for mixer. Then it mix with water and oil. After that the mixer process through a roller and it transform into a thin dough sheets. Then the dough strips with machine and convert into a noodles discs.

In the next stage, the noodles discs are placed in cooking oil and for drying. Once this process is complete then the noddles are put in individual cups. Vegetables and spices are added into the cups. Then it go for labeling and sealing, once the process is complete then the noddles is ready for sell.
