Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response covers the main stages of the noodle manufacturing process, from raw material storage to the final packaging. However, the response is incomplete as it ends abruptly mid-sentence ('oder to'). This failure to finish the final step of the process prevents a full overview of the task. While the main features are identified, the lack of a complete conclusion and the unfinished sentence significantly impact the overall task achievement. To improve, ensure that all steps shown in the diagram are described and that the response reaches a logical conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into an introduction and a body paragraph. While there is a logical progression from the start to the end of the process, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited. Phrases like 'Initially' and 'Finally' are used, but the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed. The paragraphing is insufficient; the entire process description should ideally be broken into two or three logical stages to improve readability. The abrupt ending also disrupts the coherence of the final section.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, using terms like 'storage silos', 'dough sheets', and 'manufacturing'. However, there are some awkward word choices and minor errors, such as 'packed alone with' (should be 'along with') and 'oder to' (incomplete). The range is somewhat limited, relying on basic verbs to describe the process. To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more precise process-related vocabulary, such as 'conveyed', 'processed', 'subsequently', or 'integrated'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'as a raw materials flour will be stored' (subject-verb agreement and article usage) and 'which followed up by' (missing auxiliary verb). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors and the incomplete final sentence indicate that control over complex structures is not yet consistent.
