Firstly, the noodles are manufactured by using flour, in the storage silos, then they will mix the intstant noodles by mixing some water and oil in the mixer. and after that they use the sheets for making the noodles shape that's called dough sheet. than they make the noodles strips by using dough strips. and than they use the noodles disc's, then wait till cooking( oil+ drying) , than they use cups for vegetables and spices. After that, they label and sealing that in the labels. so now this is the method of manufacturing instant noodles.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the score. While the student identifies the main stages of the noodle manufacturing process, the description is overly simplistic and lacks the necessary detail to fully explain the transformation from raw ingredients to the final product. The overview is repetitive and does not clearly highlight the key stages or the flow of the process. Because the response is under-length and lacks sufficient development of the information provided in the diagram, it does not adequately cover all parts of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response is organized into two very short paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is repetitive and often misused, such as the frequent and unnecessary use of 'then' and 'than' to link sentences. The transition between steps is mechanical rather than fluid, making the text feel like a list of actions rather than a coherent summary of a process. Paragraphing is present but ineffective due to the brevity of the text and the lack of clear thematic grouping of the manufacturing stages.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying heavily on basic terms like 'manufactured', 'using', and 'making'. There is little attempt to use precise technical vocabulary related to industrial processes (e.g., 'extrusion', 'dehydration', 'packaging'). Errors in word choice, such as 'doing eight methods steps' and 'noodles disc's', indicate a lack of control over appropriate terminology. The spelling of 'intstant' and 'nowdays' further detracts from the quality of the writing. To improve, the student needs to expand their range of verbs and nouns to describe industrial procedures more accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with frequent errors. There are significant issues with sentence structure, such as 'The diagram illustrates that how instant noodles are manufactured' and 'this will tells us'. Punctuation is also problematic, with inconsistent use of commas and periods. The frequent confusion between 'then' and 'than' and the incorrect use of apostrophes (e.g., 'disc's') demonstrate a lack of control over basic grammatical rules. The response lacks complex sentence structures, which prevents it from achieving a higher band score.
