The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The diagram illustrates process of manufacturing instant noodles in different points . The starts from storing flours and end with the Labels.

Firstly, flour are collected to store in solos, which are moved to mixer where water and oil are added with the flour to make dough. After that dough are placed on sheets to make the dough flat, where flat dough are cut into long stripe shape, which are later used to make noodles shape.

Noodles are then dipped into oil and then noodles are dried. Additionally, noodles are kept inside the cups with additional vegetable and spices. In the end noodle cups are labelled and sealed, which are ready to sell into the marked.

Overall, there are 8 different process in manufacture of instant noodles. oil is used in two different stage of the process, one for the mixing and preparing dough and another one for the drying the noodles.
