IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The represented man-made process chart depicts the information about the way of making instant noodles.

It is crystal clear that, this process chart is consisted of exactly 8 labeled steps which commencing with flour pumped to storage silos and ending up with labeling and sealing.

At the fleeting glance, it is evident that firstly it starts up with pumping flour to storage silos through trucks and further this flour is put into mixer and water and oil is also added with flour in second step. In third step, the dough sheets which are made by mixer is proceeded to fourth step with rollers and then this dough sheets are cut down down to strips.

Moving further, now coming with fifth step called noodles discs. In this step noodle strips are reshaped and turned to noodle discs and after cooking is added into these discs in next step also after it is kept for drying. Striking with the seventh step, vegetables and spices are added to this dried noodles and put them into cups and in the eighth step these cups are sealed and labeled and get ready to supply in market.
