The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The picture outlines the stages in which instant noodles are formed, form flour's storage to labelling.

Overall, the process begins when flour which is used for noodle making is send to a mixer, then noodles discs are made. These discs after drying and adding vegetables and spices are packed for selling.

The manufacturing process starts when the flour from the storage area is transferred into the mixer, where water and oil are added into it to make a dough. Next, the dough is then passed from rollers for making dough sheets. After this, dough strips are obtained by cutting the sheets.

These strips are then assembeled in a proper shape which is called noodles discs. After assembling, cooking oil is mixed with them and lastly dry them. These noodles discs are then poured into cups, in which some vegetables and spices for enhancing flavour is added. Finally, these cups are labelled and secure with proper sealing before sending to the commercial area.
