The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of instant noodles.

Overall, there are 8 different stages in which manufacturing of instant noodles take place. Starting from storing of flour silos to the labelling and sealing of noodles cup.

Initially, the process begins with the stored flour silos and then dumping them into a mixer machine adding water and oil in order to mix them well and prepare a dough. Following, in the third step, the mixer is passed through a roller one by one to make a perfect dough sheets. Furthermore, in the fourth step, dough sheets are then chopped into a thin strips.

Additionally, in the fifth stage of the manufacture, there are several noodles discs for the dough strips, where they are cooked using oil and later dried, this is considered as the main process. Then in the next step, the cooked noodles are placed into the cups adding different vegetables and spices for amazing tastes. And in the last step, the cup noodles are labelled accordingly and sealed for the further transportation process.
