The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The diagram displays the required process involved in manufacturing instant noodles.

Overall, the production of instant noodles is a linear process which includes five main steps including storage, mixing and making dough, cooking and drying noodles discs, addition of vegetables and spices and lastly labelling and sealing.

In the beginning, flour is tranferred to storage silos from a truck which is further mixed together by adding water and oil in a mixer. After that, it is made into dough sheets by help of a Rollers later made into smaller dough strips. The dough strips undergoes change in shape in noddles discs that is cooked in oil and then dryed. Furthermore, in the cooked and dried noddles vegetables and spices are added for seasoning on the other side Cups are manufactured. At the final step , after managing to put the instant noddles inside the cups the Cups are labelled and sealed. In this way instant noddles is manudactured successfully.
