The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The illustration depicts the process of making inatnt noodles.

Overall, it is clear that the process begins at storage silos and ends at the production of noodles. This is achieved by making different strips and discs by using dough and finally with the placement of noodles in containers and labelling.

The process starts when flour is transported from storage silos to mixers. Here, water and oil is added into the flour to make dough which is then processes NY different machinery. Firstly, rollers change dough into sheets which is then passed through a machine to break the sheets and convert them into strips of equal sizes.

At step 5, noodle strips are then circled in the shape of discs that are cooked in oil. After the successful cooking, these are dried and placed in different cups for packing. Here, different vegetables and spices are added in the cups filled with noodles. In the last step, cups are sealed and labelled according to the ingredients used in it.
