The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given diagram illustrates the process in which the instant noodles are manufactured.

Overall, the process consists on 8 major steps. The ingrediants were used flour, oil and water then after the mixing them well that mixed incrediants passes from many steps and cooded when reach the discs and afterward finals stages such as packing and labling can be done.

First of all, flour was delivered to the storage silos which were the large verticle storage containers. A mixer that is placed on the start of rollers contains water and oil, flour is also added in it from the storage silos. The mixer produce the dough sheets that passes from the rollers and reach the next step in which these sheets transformed to the strips and put in the noodle discs and those dics move down in the cooking area. The instant noodles cooked there in oil and dried too.

However, next will be the packing steps, in which cooked noodles place into the cups with vegetables and spices added as topping and pass for the labelling. The labels were added on cups and seal them.
